Anew Health is a national pharmacy care management company specializing in complex chronic patient needs, providing comprehensive pharmacy services, full‑service pharmacy benefit management, and support for the Program of All‑Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE).
Responsibilities- Receive electronic prescriptions, weekly batches or refill requests and accurately fill prescriptions under pharmacist direction.
- Perform pharmacy tasks such as handling, counting, mixing, and packaging medications.
- Enter correct dispensing quantity and manufacturer NDC for prescription orders as needed.
- Execute reclamation duties and use pharmacy software to check and record prescription data.
- Act as a liaison between customers, providers and the pharmacy; triage incoming calls and messages to answer questions and fill orders.
- Establish and maintain patient profiles, including medication lists, and document medication care plans using proprietary software.
- Ensure compliance, efficiency, and quality of operations; participate in quality initiatives and report quality assurance issues.
- Secure information in accordance with company privacy and security guidelines and HIPAA regulations.
- Provide enrollment support for new PACE enrollees and communicate pharmacy benefit information to network pharmacies.
- Coordinate facility discharges to assure medication reconciliation is complete and delivery to home is restored.
- Support network pharmacies at the help‑desk, educate PACE staff on processes, and make outgoing calls to gather or confirm information.
- Coordinate and set up couriers for timely medication delivery and verify participants received their delivery.
- High level of integrity and commitment to quality.
- HS diploma required. Must be registered or eligible to become registered with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy within 60 days of hire.
- Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy technician experience, preferably in a retail setting.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite and strong computer proficiency for proprietary and other software.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong patient‑centered focus.
- Excellent phone communication skills.
- Understanding of clinical terms and impacts.
- Ability to multi‑task and handle multiple priorities without sacrificing quality.
- Detail oriented and organized.
Administrative duties requiring hearing, seeing, sitting, standing, talking, and walking. Must be able to commute to multiple site locations and may be required to work extended hours as needed.
ScheduleFull‑time, 1:00PM–9:30PM ET Friday–Tuesday; average 40 hours per week with availability outside normal business hours on an ad‑hoc basis. Rotating weekend schedule approximately up to four times a year and a rotating holiday schedule.
