The University of Iowa seeks a part-time Emergency Department Medical Coder to accurately assign ICD-10-CM and CPT codes for facility and physician services. This is a remote-eligible position (subject to training assessment).
Qualifications include a degree in Health Information Management or coding certification, alongside strong coding knowledge. The role requires excellent communication skills and attention to detail, with training options available.
Compensation starts at $21.55 per hour, with flexible hours available primarily Monday to Friday.
