Children's LEAD Home Based Support Staff
NEW STARTING RATE-$25-$27/hour
We are looking for qualified candidates to provide 1:1 in home support to children between the ages of 3-18, under the guidance and supervision of a licensed Clinical Supervisor in our HBTS program. We are seeking individuals who are vision focused, team oriented, highly organized, flexible, energetic, self-directed, solution oriented with strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- FULL TIME position with competitive benefits and pay
. The Lead’s schedule fluctuates week to week but is generally Monday thru Friday between the hours of 11:00am-7:00pm. The children on our caseload are located throughout RI so there is also travel reimbursement. - Phenomenal position if you are currently pursuing a Master's degree in Mental Health, Social Work, Special Education, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or Speech Therapy. We are super flexible and do our best to focus on your area of interest.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with a team of licensed clinicians to assist in initial treatment plan development
- Work directly with children and families in their homes and communities
- Carry caseload of 3-5 children per week
- Implement Treatment plan goals and specific behavioral plans
- Collect data on skills and behavior
- Providing ongoing staff support as needed
- Meet regularly with Clinical Supervisors
- Work effectively with children with diverse disabilities or mental health diagnosis
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for, a diverse population.
- Effectively plan, organize and prioritize work.
- Meet schedules and time lines.
- Understand and follow oral and written directions.
- Communicate efficiently both orally and in writing.
- Be a collaborative and engaging part of a team.
- Be flexible - The schedule may change weekly.

- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred in related field with at least 3 years experience working with children or adults with disabilities
- Candidates with experience in behavior management in any setting are preferred.
- A valid driver's license, a good driving record, and proof of current auto insurance a must.
