Job Overview

We are seeking a Hospital Development Specialist to establish and build relationships with partner hospitals and create a culture of donation. This hybrid remote position is based in Green Bay, WI, with required office days at 448 Science Drive, Madison, WI.

Work Schedule

100% FTE, day shift. Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with occasional nights, weekends, and outside business hours. Occasional overnight travel required. Hybrid remote with 2 days per month on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday and 2–3 days per week during orientation.

Responsibilities
  • Establish and build strong relationships with hospital partners and create a culture of donation.
  • Support partner hospitals in maintaining regulatory compliance related to organ and tissue donation.
  • Provide education, strategic planning, and debriefing opportunities for hospital partners.
  • Develop outreach materials and effective communication strategies to share the importance of organ and tissue donation.
  • Utilize quality improvement tools and data to implement process improvements.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, marketing, communications, business, or a related field – required.
  • Master’s degree in the same areas – preferred.
Work Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in quality improvement, hospital or healthcare outreach, strategic planning, or program/project management within healthcare settings or community‑based organizations. Must include public speaking and the ability to facilitate data‑driven improvement or education initiatives – required.
  • Minimum 1 year of progressively responsible experience in transplant, organ procurement, or hospital‑based end‑of‑life care (e.g., ICU, ED, palliative care) – preferred.
Licenses & Certifications
  • Valid WI driver’s license and current auto insurance – required.
