AHIMA is seeking a Health Information Management Coding Manager in Pittsfield, MA. This hybrid position allows for remote work but requires periodic onsite presence. The position involves overseeing the acute care coding operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and supporting education and process improvement in coding practices.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of Medical Record experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role, and must possess a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification, with additional HIM certifications preferred.
