Behavior Technician - South Puget Sound Area

Job Overview

CBPI seeks full-time (32+ hours per week) behavior technicians to provide 1:1 support to children and adolescents with emotional behavior disorders, autism, intellectual disabilities, and challenging behaviors in school-based settings across King and Pierce Counties.

Positions are entry‑level and include paid training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Center‑based and part‑time home positions are available during summer months.

• Work 1:1 with children and adolescents with developmental disabilities and/or emotional behavior disorders
• Maintain a safe environment for all students and staff members
• Follow behavior plans and acquisition plans created by a BCBA
• Take data on all target behaviors
• Attend team meetings
• Debrief with teachers daily
• Write daily session notes
• Collaborate with BCBA during observations

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, especially in psychology, social work, education, or a related field
• Experience working with children and/or people with disabilities
• Strong desire to work with students with special needs
• Desire to work in a dynamic team and advance knowledge and skills in Applied Behavior Analysis

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential
• Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) coaching and supervision
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supervision and guidance

$23.00 - $27.00 per hour.
