Job Overview

Pay Range: $26.80 - $40.20. Actual pay rate is based on factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications, and education.

Responsibilities

Assists surgical team members in providing intraoperative care to the perioperative patient by preparing and monitoring equipment, passing instruments, maintaining the sterile field, assisting with patient transfer and positioning, and performing a variety of surgical skills and procedures.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate’s degree in surgical technology preferred.
  • Graduate from a recognized surgical technology program or has completed military training in surgical technology (must provide DD214 or equivalent documentation).
  • Illinois:
    High School Diploma or GED PLUS 3 years working as a Surgical Technologist in a healthcare setting may be considered in lieu of education.
Certifications and Licenses
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
