What You’ll Do
Join Us as an MR Clinical Sr. Specialist. Are you a highly skilled MR professional who is energized by research, innovation, and clinical collaboration? In this role, you will help shape the future of MRI by supporting clinical research collaborations through MRI scanning, clinical input, and coordination with clinicians, researchers, and internal MR teams. This position offers a unique opportunity to combine hands‑on skills with clinical insight to drive the development of imaging solutions that meet real‑world clinical and research needs.
Responsibilities- Perform high‑quality scanning of research subjects and phantoms following specified protocols
- Support collaborative research projects through on‑site scanning and direct engagement with partner institutions
- Ensure image quality, subject safety, and protocol adherence across all research activities
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of procedures, protocols, and research activity details
- Provide clinical and technical insight that strengthens study design, MR protocol optimization, and MR image/data review
- Apply strong knowledge of MR, cross‑sectional anatomy, and imaging workflows to research and product validation efforts
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, researchers, and clinical scientists to interpret MRI results and inform next steps
- Build trusted relationships with radiologists, technologists, researchers, and administrative partners at customer sites
- Serve as the voice of the customer by translating clinical needs into actionable insights for internal MR teams
- Contribute meaningful clinical insights that inform MR product development, feature enhancements, and innovation roadmaps
- Identify clinical user needs and translate them into clear requirements for new MR products or features
- Support the creation of clinical collaterals including case studies, presentations, white papers, and research publications
- Adhere to all applicable regulatory requirements, safety standards, and institutional research policies
- Maintain MR equipment readiness and report technical issues as appropriate
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to remain current with best practices and emerging technologies
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Allied Health, Radiologic Technology, or a related field
- ARRT certification with MRI credential (active or obtained within the required timeframe)
- Active Ohio Radiologic License or the ability to obtain one
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 5+ years of clinical experience as a practicing MRI technologist
- Experience supporting MRI research activities (preferred)
- Prior industry experience in clinical applications, education, research, or clinical marketing environment is a plus
- Canon MR experience highly desired
- Strong proficiency in MRI scanning
- Working knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy, imaging protocols, and MRI patient safety standards
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clinicians, researchers, and cross‑functional internal teams
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Attention to detail and commitment to data integrity, safety, and confidentiality
- Comfort operating in a research‑focused environment
Based in CHCU’s home office in Mayfield Village (Cleveland), Ohio. This position will move to our permanent HQ on Cedar and 105th in Opportunity Corridor, downtown Cleveland in 2026.
