Pay: Starting from $18.50 increases with experience
Shift Differential: $3.00/hour 2nd shift and $1.50/hour 3rd shift
Responsibilities- Providing high-quality care and safety to elders
- Presenting elders with choices and decision‑making opportunities
- Engaging in interesting and meaningful activities with elders
- Assisting the elders in getting up and going to bed when they want
- Planning and cooking their favorite foods and eating a meal with them
- Laundry and light housekeeping tasks
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent
- Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant – CNA/STNA certification required in the State of Ohio. Applicants must pass the state test and be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry. However, see below for our offer of on‑the‑job assistance in getting this certification!
- Experience: Good documentation, communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to use proper lift technique and lift equipment to move, lift and transfer residents
