Telehealth Family Nurse Practitioner - Eating Disorders Remote
About the Role
The Family Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for caring for children and adults with eating disorders via Equip’s 100% virtual telehealth platform. Nurse Practitioners are essential members of Equip's 5-person virtual treatment team, working alongside a therapist, dietitian, peer mentor, and family mentor to help people recover from eating disorders. Must be actively licensed in Oregon.
Responsibilities- Manage a high volume patient case‑load.
- Provide comprehensive assessments and diagnoses of eating disorders and co‑occurring psychiatric conditions.
- Implement medication treatment plans for eating disorders and co‑occurring conditions in a virtual clinic.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team of physicians, dietitians, therapists, patient mentors, family mentors, and outside providers.
- Utilize between‑session messaging to support patients and communicate with the treatment team through Equip EMR in accordance with Equip’s policies and procedures.
- Engage in treatment team meetings, supervision, and department meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Board certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Ability to maintain active Family Nurse Practitioner license and pursue cross‑licensing as applicable (cost of licenses covered by Equip).
- 3+ years of experience treating pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients in an outpatient setting; primary care experience preferred.
- Commitment to evidence‑based care, clinical skill advancement, and professional development.
- Effective communication with patients and carers; timely response to messages.
- Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and enthusiasm for collaborative multidisciplinary care.
- Equip allows patient‑scheduling between 8 a.m.–8 p.m. (patient time zone), Monday‑Friday.
- Provide direct patient care, including new patients and follow‑up sessions.
- Commit to working until 6 p.m. on two evenings per week (choose which evenings).
- Attend mandatory meetings (group supervision, treatment huddles, labs, all hands, individual supervision, etc.).
Compensation:
- Earning potential range: $110,000 to $140,000 annually + 15% performance bonus potential.

- Equip reimburses fees associated with initial licensure and license renewals (exam fees, state board application, exam study materials, etc.) for required or cross‑licensure requests.
- $50/month stipend added to paycheck to cover home internet expenses.
- Initial work‑from‑home stipend up to $500, with a $200 reload at the 3‑year mark and every other year thereafter.

Work performed 100% from home with no travel requirement. Stationary position requiring use of standard office equipment and keyboards, and telephone communication. Sit or stand as needed.
