Overview
Pharmacy Technician
- Prior Authorization (Work from Home-Hawaii)
- Process and communicate prior authorization referrals for Specialty and Non-Specialty medications as reviewed by the Case Review Unit.
- Collaborate with Customer Service, Benefits Verification and Pharmacy Operations to communicate referral status and determinations.
- Handle fax processing and provide telephone assistance for prescriber office staff, pharmacies and members according to program criteria.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation of all appropriate information.
- Work closely with the Case Review Unit Clinician team for clinical support on daily functions.
- Other duties may be assigned by the leadership team.
40 hour work week, Monday through Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM HST
Required Qualifications- Must be Hawaii resident
- 1 year experience in customer service or call center environment
- Must be able to work from home, this is a 100% work from home position
- Have wired high speed internet
- Previous experience in pharmacy or healthcare industry.
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree.
High School Diploma or equivalent GED

Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is: $17.00 - $34.15
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
