Thriveworks is currently seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in Maine.
Clinicians need to be licensed and living in the state in which they will be practicing.
CompensationThis is a Fee for Service (W2) position. The range for this position is $65,000-$93,000 per year based on 15-20 clinical hours per week. Telemedicine practice does not promote stimulant medication use; prescribing is at the clinician’s discretion. We do not treat substance use disorders and refer out when symptoms exceed telemedicine care.
Qualifications- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – Board Certification required
- Master’s in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state
- Understanding of AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is a plus
- Three years of experience is a plus; one year of psychiatry practice is required
- Must be licensed and live in the state of practice
- Complete in-house training on ADHD treatment standards followed by a certification exam
- Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients via telemedicine
- Willingness to treat 14 years old and up
- Prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms, as needed
- Create and collaborate with clients on care plans
- Complete and/or administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools for clients
Adhere to Thriveworks’ Clinical Practice Guidelines - Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients, programs, and services at the various sites
