Part Time Remote Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Fee For Service

Thriveworks is currently seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in Maine.

Clinicians need to be licensed and living in the state in which they will be practicing.

This is a Fee for Service (W2) position. The range for this position is $65,000-$93,000 per year based on 15-20 clinical hours per week. Telemedicine practice does not promote stimulant medication use; prescribing is at the clinician’s discretion. We do not treat substance use disorders and refer out when symptoms exceed telemedicine care.

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – Board Certification required
• Master’s in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state
• Understanding of AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is a plus
• Three years of experience is a plus; one year of psychiatry practice is required
• Must be licensed and live in the state of practice
• Complete in-house training on ADHD treatment standards followed by a certification exam

• Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients via telemedicine
• Willingness to treat 14 years old and up
• Prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms, as needed
• Create and collaborate with clients on care plans
• Complete and/or administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools for clients
  
  Adhere to Thriveworks’ Clinical Practice Guidelines
• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients, programs, and services at the various sites
