Therapist (Child) Part-time to Full-time - Office Based & Teletherapy

We have an opportunity for licensed LCSW or LPC professionals in Virginia with experience working with children in virtual and office-based settings. Those with clinical licenses in multiple states are encouraged to apply.

MySpectrum offers outpatient counseling and coaching to children and adults, focusing on the Autism Spectrum, Substance Abuse Spectrum, Mental Health Spectrum, and Whole Life Spectrum. We work with every person, on every spectrum and are seeking skilled Therapists throughout the state of Virginia who are interested in providing teletherapy to children (age 5‑12) and working in an office setting with an expansive play therapy and creative arts room.

We want to serve children who have not found the right fit for therapy, who do not fit the mold of other practices, and who face barriers to in‑person therapy. Instead of building your own private practice, we take care of the business aspects so you can focus on therapy, with a home office in North Chesterfield, VA for in‑person support.

Some aspects of being in private practice that we will take care of for you at MySpectrum include:

• Credentialing with insurance carriers
• Billing (you get paid bi‑weekly regardless of whether we collect)
• A teletherapy platform built and continuously enhanced to meet your specifications
• Marketing
• Scheduling
• Use of an electronic health record for documentation of sessions

The Therapist will provide therapy through a HIPAA‑compliant teletherapy platform, as well as in our office in North Chesterfield, in standard 45‑60 minute sessions. The average caseload for full‑time Therapists will be approximately 30 client sessions per week. For part‑time Therapists, we will work with you to build a manageable caseload, with a minimum of 7 sessions per week. We are willing to support part‑time schedules until you are ready to transition to full time, and we also welcome candidates seeking a part‑time role to supplement income.

• Provide virtual therapy in standard 45‑60 minute blocks

• Licensed as an LCSW or LPC in Virginia, eligible for credentialing with major insurance panels; multi‑state clinical licenses encouraged
• Registered Play Therapist desired
