Midi is seeking a resourceful, professional and highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team! As a Certified Medical Assistant, you have a positive attitude both internally with your team and cross-functional partners and always treat patients with kindness and optimism. • Maintain accurate patient records
• Demonstrate empathy and professionalism via all communication methods, including phone, video, email, slack, text, and patient portal messages
• Complete prior authorizations
• Perform clinical administrative functions within scope of certification
• Follow provider instructions, demonstrate accurate, timely, and efficient follow-through with pharmacy refills, obtaining, reporting and tracking of lab results, medical records, leaving phone messages, and responding to patient messages
• Remain in compliance with HIPAA, and protect all patient health information (PHI) in accordance with federal and state regulation

• Medical Assistant Certification (CMA or RMA) required
• 3+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant - huge plus if you have telehealth and/or remote work experience!
• 2+ years of Athenahealth outpatient EMR experience (strongly preferred), 5+ years of overall EMR experience

40 hour work week guaranteed; 5 day work-week with flexibility preferred Mon - Sun; daily 30min unpaid lunch

• Compensation: $22/hour, non-exempt
• Full Time, 40-hour work-week
• Fully remote, work from home opportunity
