Serves at-risk-youth between, between the ages of 9-18 who are at risk of abuse or neglect, have been abused or neglected, have serious emotional, mental or behavioral disturbances which can include problem sexual behavior, and are involved in the juvenile justice system. In partnership with MHYs contract psychiatric services, affords residents with individual counseling, group counseling, and supports residents with family counseling.

The candidate must be able to work some flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Maintains a caseload of children and their families as assigned by the supervisor, in accordance with State and County regulations.
  • Provides home-based sessions with clients and families as scheduled.
  • Completes all documentation within one week of its reporting period. Documentation includes but is not be limited to: ISPs, ISP Reviews, ISP Addendums, consent forms, psychosocial evaluations, PCP letters, and release of information authorizations.
