About Hope RISING Clinic and Wonderland Child & Family ServicesHope RISING Clinic is a division of Wonderland Child & Family Services which is a multi-program agency serving children from birth through age 12 with developmental delays, disabilities, and prenatal substance exposure. Founded 50 years ago, Wonderland’s mission is to provide a strong and equitable foundation for children and their families with diverse needs and abilities to flourish through therapy, education, advocacy, and resources.
We reach hundreds of families every month through Early Childhood Programs & Services and Hope RISING Clinic for Prenatal Substance Exposure. Our direct service providers are uniquely trained to provide trauma- and FASD-informed care.
Wonderland Child & Family Services is seeking a passionate and skilled professional to join our dynamic, transdisciplinary team at the Hope Rising Clinic (HRC). In this role, you will provide education and evidence-based therapeutic support to caregivers and children ages 3–12 with prenatal substance exposure (PSE). Services are delivered in our Bothell clinic, and through remote work. Our clinic is a leader in the field, setting a national standard for innovative, high-quality care for children with PSE and their caregivers.
Pay and Benefits:- This is a full-time, hybrid position with a starting salary range of $75,000 - $100,000 and a hiring bonus of $1000
- Role is expected to be 25% remote / 75% in-person, subject to change based on family and agency need

Note:
Benefits are available to employees working at least 20 hours per week and costs vary by FTE.
- Interest in and passion for working with children with FASD and prenatal substance exposure.
- Master’s degree with a valid license in the state of Washington; LMHC-A or LSWAIC may be considered.
- Direct service experience as a mental health provider with children and families, preferably providing child-based mental health, trauma-informed care and/or working with families dealing with substance use and/or prenatal exposure.
- Able to conduct therapy sessions via telehealth, on-site at the clinic, and occasionally in community settings.
- Strong organizational skills needed for maintaining documentation, meeting deadlines, and scheduling clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Current criminal background check maintained for all employees.
- Wonderland employees are mandated reporters of any suspected abuse or neglect of a child to DCYF (CPS) and/or law enforcement.
- Commitment for all employees to work toward including trauma informed care practices in their daily work.
- Prefer child and family counseling with some experience in Play Therapy, CBT/DBT, crisis work, trauma-informed care, and/or motivational interviewing training/experience.
- Bilingual preferred.
- WA-AIMH endorsement preferred.
- Knowledge of parent/caregiver coaching; experience preferred.
- Participate in multidisciplinary intake assessments along with occupational therapists and family support specialists.
- Conduct caregiver training, focusing on neurobehavioral health.
- Collaborate in developing individualized goals and treatment plans for children and families.
- Implement evidence-based interventions tailored to children with PSE using a primary service provider model and structured approaches such as synergetic play therapy.
