Medical Billing Specialist—Revenue Cycle

This position is responsible for submitting claims to third-party payers for hospital, hospital-based providers, and physician clinic providers. The role includes pursuing collection of claims until payment is received from insurance companies performing the necessary steps to complete the billing process.

High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare experience preferred, post-secondary education may substitute for years of experience, minimum of 1 year of relevant experience preferred.

Ideal candidates will have experience with billing in a Critical Access Hospital; or professional billing experience, with the initiative to learn hospital billing and expand medical billing knowledge and skills.

Schedule:

Full-time;
Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Flexible scheduling available. Remote work may be an option following the training period and successful demonstration of billing competencies.
