Position: Clinical Supervisor – Open Access

Oregon Licensed Clinician

This position includes a $3.00/hr license differential that is equivalent to an additional $6,240 per year (prorated by FTE).

Remote work not available in Hawaii, Ohio, North Dakota, Wyoming or California. If hired remotely, must be licensed with the State of Oregon.

Overview

The Open Access (OA) Clinical Supervisor assists with the oversight of OA program. Ensure that clients with mental health disorders and co-occurring disorders have timely access to services. Provides crisis assistance to remote and on-site clinicians as needed during the day including safety planning. Provides clinical direction, supervision, oversight and guidance to team members. May carry a caseload of clients and complete intake assessments as needed.

Works effectively and collaboratively within the agency and with other mental health professionals, community partners and local, state and federal stakeholders. Promotes team compliance with clinical requirements. Adheres to and enforces agency policies and procedures regarding clinical performance and professional conduct. Provides direct treatment to assigned clients and crisis assessments as needed.

Supervision Exercised

Assists Chief Operations Officer, Clinical Directors, and Program Manager with overseeing the delivery of clinical services for clients with behavioral health disorders (mental health and substance use). Provides clinical direction, oversight and guidance to team(s), which may include QMHPs, QMHAs, CADC's, and support staff.

Responsibilities

Works collaboratively with Open Access Support Staff Assistant Manager to ensure the smooth running of Open Access (OA) program by ensuring that those seeking care are being seen within a reasonable amount of time, troubleshooting issues including the scheduling of clients, ensuring adequate staff coverage, and responding to crisis emails from staff asking for support or review of documentation.

Provides clinical direction and clinical supervision to staff within OA program and communicates with other clinical supervisors on staff needs and on-going training opportunities. Meets regularly with team and individual staff to review their clinical work as it relates to evidence-based practices (EBP), OARs, and agency policy and directives.

Provides monthly supervision to full time OA staff in accordance with OARs and licensing boards.

Provides on-going training and support to all clinicians completing OA assessments, including but not limited to: responding to clinical questions, on-boarding new OA clinicians and academic interns, providing direct observation of assessments and reviewing clinical documentation.

Provides crisis support for staff as needed.

Ensures that OA staff are: using collaborative documentation, assessments and treatment plans are being completed within the required agency time frames, and assessments meet clinical standards.

Ensures the smooth running of OA and that those seeking care are being seen within a reasonable amount of time, troubleshooting issues including the scheduling of clients, responding to crisis and requesting assistance from other members of Options…
