# Mobile Phlebotomist Hot Job Murray, UT 84123## Overview Salary Range $18.00 - $22.00 Hourly Position Type Full Time Education Level High School Category Health  Care## Description### Position SummaryAMG is seeking two compassionate, organized, and self-motivated Mobile Phlebotomists to provide in-home and assisted living laboratory collection services throughout Northern Utah. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently while delivering exceptional patient care in a mobile environment.

The Mobile Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting blood and other specimens, ensuring proper specimen handling, transporting specimens to local laboratories, documenting services, and coordinating directly with the AMG operations team to provide timely diagnostic support for our Home-Based Primary Care patients.

---## Essential Responsibilities
* Perform venipuncture and specimen collection in patients' homes and assisted living communities.
* Collect blood, urine, and other ordered specimens.
* Properly label, process, package, and transport specimens to designated laboratories.
* Coordinate daily schedules and routes with the AMG operations team.
* Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record.
* Communicate collection issues, redraws, or patient concerns to the clinical team.
* Ensure specimen integrity through proper handling and transportation.
* Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
* Build positive relationships with patients, caregivers, facility staff, and providers.
* Maintain HIPAA compliance and infection prevention standards.
* Represent AMG professionally throughout the community.## Daily Responsibilities
* Review daily assignments and optimized route.
* Travel throughout assigned territory completing scheduled collections.
* Coordinate directly with assisted living communities and residential patients.
* Deliver specimens to the nearest contracted laboratory.
* Document completed collections and unresolved orders.
* Prepare for the following day's schedule before ending the workday.## Qualifications## Qualifications

Required:

* Certified Phlebotomy Technician (or equivalent certification)
* Minimum one year of phlebotomy experience
* Excellent venipuncture skills, including geriatric patients
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
* Ability to travel throughout assigned territory daily
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Comfortable working independently

Preferred:
* Mobile phlebotomy experience
* Home health or home-based primary care experience
* Experience working with geriatric populations
* EMR experience (DrChrono preferred)---##

* Frequent driving throughout assigned territory
* Walking in residential homes and senior living communities
* Standing, bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds
