The OB Sonographer 3 will perform high‑risk OB/GYN imaging exams and procedures under the direction of Maternal Fetal Medicine and GYN Imaging physicians, following established protocols. Responsible for obtaining and correlating clinical history with indicated exam or procedure. Must be able to use the independent judgement necessary to obtain all required information, images and measurements. Must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and understanding of fetal and gynecological anatomy and physiology, and technical sonographic principles.

Must deliver patient care in accordance with USFTGP mission, vision and values. Other duties as assigned.

Completion of a formal accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program with ARDMS registry in OB/GYN. Current BLS certification required.

Minimum of 3 years of OB/GYN sonography experience required. Must demonstrate current knowledge and level of expertise generally obtained through national certification required to perform high‑risk OB/GYN sonograms.

Under supervision of the OB/GYN Sonographer Supervisor and in accordance with established protocols, perform the following OB/GYN sonograms and procedures:

• 2D and 3D GYN sonograms
• Hysterosalpingogram (Contrast Sonogram)
• Ultrasound guidance for various GYN procedures

• Early pregnancy viability
• Fetal growth
• Nuchal Translucency evaluation
• Biophysical Profile
• Fetal anatomy and Level II sonograms
• Ultrasound guidance for amniocentesis and chorionic villous sampling procedures
