Providing essential support to customers, the part-time Remote Medical Billing Support Specialist will manage new order intake, conduct insurance verification, and ensure patient satisfaction while working the 2nd shift from home.
Key responsibilities- Manage all aspects of initial intake, including answering calls and processing paperwork
- Conduct insurance verification and eligibility checks for services/products
- Develop and maintain relationships with patients, referral sources, and field management
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience with medical billing practices preferred
- Experience in healthcare administration or patient intake preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- One year of related work experience preferred
