OverviewSentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Home Health Aide. Home Health Aides will perform basic and routine patient care, such as personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, meal preparation and feeding, intake/output, ambulation, and assisting patients with transfer from/to bed, toilet, and other areas of the home.
Anticipated Status/ShiftFull Time (40 hours/week), Day Shift
Position LocationSentara Hospice Services – Chesapeake, VA
Pay$15.75 – $20.46 per hour
Education- No specific education requirements
- CNA (Required)
- First Aid Basics Certification (Required)
- BLS (Required within 90 days of hire)
- Previous Customer Service Experience (Required)
- Basic and routine patient care (Preferred)
- Personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and feeding (Preferred)
- Intake/output (Preferred)
- Ambulation (Preferred)
- Assisting patients with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the home (Preferred)
