Home Health Aide

Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Home Health Aide. Home Health Aides will perform basic and routine patient care, such as personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, meal preparation and feeding, intake/output, ambulation, and assisting patients with transfer from/to bed, toilet, and other areas of the home.

Full Time (40 hours/week), Day Shift

$15.75 – $20.46 per hour

• No specific education requirements

• CNA (Required)
• First Aid Basics Certification (Required)
• BLS (Required within 90 days of hire)

• Previous Customer Service Experience (Required)
• Basic and routine patient care (Preferred)
• Personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and feeding (Preferred)
• Intake/output (Preferred)
• Ambulation (Preferred)
• Assisting patients with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the home (Preferred)
