• Visit provider offices to scan or upload assigned medical record charts using various EMR systems.
• Work an average of 20-28 hours per week, with fluctuating schedule that may increase during busier months.
• Engage professionally with healthcare providers while retrieving records; maintain communication and provide daily updates.
• Access and manage weekly schedule through Datavant systems, confirm appointments, and arrive prepared and on time.
• Use designated platform to confirm correct charts, mark them as retrieved, and troubleshoot issues.
• Work independently to meet department goals for chart retrieval accuracy and efficiency.
• Complete end-of-day activities in company systems: log work hours, mileage and reimbursements.
• Adhere to the Code of Conduct, policies and HIPAA compliance.
• Cross‑train in multiple departments to provide support and supplement hours as needed.
• Travel opportunities may be available for assignments in different geographic areas.
• Assist with additional duties as required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Availability between 8am-5pm at least three consecutive days per week.
• Reliable, insured personal vehicle and valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Reliable internet service and phone.
• Basic computer skills: scanning, saving, renaming files, uploading to secure servers.
• Proven track record of punctuality, reliability, quality work and following directions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Highly dependable, arriving to appointments on time and maintaining clear communication.
• Business casual attire and high level of professionalism at all times.
• High‑speed internet connection.
• Positive attitude and desire to learn through training.
• Ability to roll and lift a 45lb equipment case or maneuver a 25lb soft case.

• This is a part‑time role with varied hours.
• Datavant pays hourly for chart retrieval and includes mileage reimbursement.
• Datavant provides paid training and support.

Over 90% of the time is spent indoors, protected from weather conditions. Exposure to noise levels is present only in unusual situations. Uber rides and other rideshare services are not approved for commute or business purposes.

Driving is a significant portion of the position. Sitting, talking, hearing and near vision are required over 90%; walking about 10%; standing over 30%; reaching about 50%; bending, twisting and climbing. Lifting 10 pounds or less about 25%; 20-40 pounds less than 5%; 52 pounds under 2%.
