DeafLEAD is looking for a compassionate part-time Chat and Text Crisis Counselor to provide crisis intervention services remotely. The role involves engaging with individuals in distress and conducting risk assessments while maintaining accurate documentation of all interactions.
Ideal candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in psychology or social work, and must be able to demonstrate empathy and active listening skills.
Compensation ranges from $17 to $21 per hour, with additional shift differentials for work during specific hours. Training will start on August 3rd, 2026.
