New Physical Therapist rates: $43.73 – $56.58/hour

New Occupational Therapist rates: $41.51 – $53.72/hour

Pay Is Based On Experience, Skills, And Education.

As a new Homecare Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist, you’ll receive a thorough orientation and mentorship to be successful as well as strong management support. Our Therapists are responsible for managing a caseload of patients requiring home-based therapy, primarily post-acute or subacute. Enjoy starting and ending your day from home!

    Monday-Friday with weekend rotation (every 6-8 weeks)

What You Will Do
  • Promote/provide physical therapy and/or occupational therapy services in the home to assist the patient in achieving his/her optimal level of functioning
  • Evaluate and treat individuals with functional deficits secondary to neurologic, orthopedic and medical conditions
  • Teach patients/caregivers and help them to become independent with their treatments and self-management of their chronic illness(es)
  • Coordinate an interdisciplinary plan of care with nursing/physical/occupational/speech therapists, medical social workers, aides and dieticians
  • Minimal weekend and holiday rotations
What You Will Need
  • Current NYS PT or OT license and registration
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a PT or OT, preferably inpatient or homecare
  • Home care experience preferred, but not required
  • Valid Driver's License and Reliable Vehicle. This position provides mileage reimbursement.

Benefits and Pay

St. Peter’s Health Partners offers a comprehensive salary and compensation package that includes:

  • Excellent benefits including health/vision/dental insurances—Eligibility is at Start-Date. 3 different plans to choose from
  • Paid leave—Accrue 28 days off per year
  • 403b with a company match
  • Tuition Reimbursement (for future education) – up to $5,250 per year

Physical Therapist Pay Range: $43.73 – $56.58/hour

Occupational Therapist Pay Range: $41.51 – $53.72/hour

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
