Job Description
The Laboratory Assistant – Microbiology (260002IK) works under general supervision and follows established policies, procedures, and professional guidelines. Responsibilities include receipt, delivery, and charting of specimens and reports. The role also involves assisting with various clerical tasks such as receptionist duties and date processing, in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED.
- 1–2 months of on‑the‑job training and orientation.
- Previous work as a laboratory assistant is preferred.
