descriptionwe are seeking mental health therapists including new grads, conditionally licensed and fullly licensed to work in a dynamic team-based environment.
lcsw, lcpc, lmft, lmsw-cc, lcpc-c license and pre-licensed positions available
the licensed mental health therapist provides comprehensive behavioral health assessment, crisis intervention, and therapeutic treatment to children and adolescents admitted to an inpatient psychiatric unit. This role functions as a core member of a multidisciplinary treatment team, delivering evidence-based, trauma-informed care to patients experiencing acute psychiatric crises.
the therapist is responsible for conducting psychosocial assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, facilitating individual, group, and family therapy, coordinating discharge planning, and collaborating with medical, nursing, educational, and community providers to ensure continuity of care.
essential duties and responsibilities clinical assessment & treatment- conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments upon admission.
- assess suicide risk, self-harm behaviors, aggression, trauma exposure, and other acute psychiatric symptoms.
- develop individualized, measurable treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team.
- provide individual therapy utilizing evidence-based modalities (e.g., cbt, dbt-informed skills, trauma-focused interventions).
- facilitate daily psycho educational and process-oriented therapy groups.
- conduct family therapy sessions and provide caregiver psychoeducation.
- provide crisis intervention and stabilization services during psychiatric emergencies.
- participate in daily treatment team meetings and case reviews.
- collaborate with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, nursing staff, social workers, occupational therapists, and educational staff.
- communicate clinical progress and treatment recommendations to the team.
- coordinate care with outpatient providers, schools, child welfare agencies, and other community supports.
master's degree and lcsw, lcpc, lmft, lmsw-cc, lcpc-c license and pre-licensed positions available
