Virtual School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our virtual network in Montana. As a Virtual School SLP, you will provide vital support to students with speech and language disorders, ensuring their academic success and overall communication development in a remote learning environment. This role offers the opportunity to work flexibly from home while making a meaningful difference in the lives of students across Montana.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities remotely.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' specific needs and goals.
  • Deliver virtual therapy sessions using evidence‑based techniques to address speech, language, and communication challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' academic and social‑emotional growth.
  • Provide consultation and support to educators on strategies for promoting speech and language development in the virtual classroom.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress, therapy sessions, and IEP goals in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Stay current on best practices, research, and trends in the field of speech‑language pathology, and integrate new knowledge into practice.
  • Participate in virtual meetings, professional development opportunities, and team discussions to enhance collaboration and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Montana license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech‑Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech‑Language Pathology (CCC‑SLP) from the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Experience working with school‑aged children with a variety of speech and language disorders.
  • Proficiency in conducting virtual assessments and delivering therapy sessions via telepractice platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Self‑motivated and organized, with the ability to manage caseloads and prioritize tasks in a remote work environment.
  • Familiarity with Montana state regulations and procedures related to special education and IEPs is desirable.
