Coding Quality Educator - Remote

Coding Quality Auditor – Remote. Most states eligible.

Under the direction of the Sr. Manager of PCN Coding Integrity, the Coding Quality Educator will assist with day‑to‑day operations of the PCN Coding Integrity Team and regional coding teams. The role conducts independent and collaborative provider coding reviews, develops documentation to support coding review work, and helps train new employees and provide ongoing provider education and training related to coding and clinical documentation.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Health Information Technology or related field, or equivalent.
• National Certification from the American Academy of Professional Coders or the American Health Information Management Association (upon hire).
• 4 years professional fee inpatient, surgical, outpatient coding, E/M, auditing and related work (5 years preferred).
• 4 years experience conducting provider audits, preparing audit reports with recommendations, and providing provider education and feedback (5 years preferred).
• Strong experience in Excel, database, e‑mail, Internet applications on a PC in a Windows environment.

• Associate's Degree in a Healthcare related field.
• 5 years experience in coding for multispecialty practice.
• 2 years experience in professional fee billing methodologies.
• Experience with IDX, Allscripts, Advanced Web, Meditech.
• Experience with project management.

Salary range is provided per location and based on experience; base pay ranges from $31.73 to $55.37 per hour, with additional compensation for shift differentials, overtime, and bonuses available.
