Dietitians at Home provides Medical Nutritional Therapy to patients with Diabetes and Chronic Kidney Disease in the Chicagoland area. Our mission is to deliver personalized and accessible nutritional care to underserved populations often overlooked by traditional healthcare systems. This is a part‑time, telehealth role for a Registered Dietitian, offered as a 1099 independent contractor position. Perfect for dietitians seeking a flexible, supplemental role, this position allows you to remotely conduct dietary assessments, develop personalized nutrition plans, and provide nutritional counseling to 8-12 patients weekly via our telehealth platform. The role focuses on delivering Medical Nutrition Therapy to manage chronic conditions such as Diabetes and Chronic Kidney Disease, while supporting patients’ healthy lifestyle practices through tailored nutritional guidance to improve their quality of life.

Patients are typically seen during our normal hours of 9am-5pm Monday through Friday (some evening and weekend hours available), with significant flexibility to accommodate your existing schedule.

As a 1099 contractor, you’ll enjoy the autonomy to set your own hours, work independently, and make a meaningful difference in underserved communities. Hours worked in this role can be applied toward the 1,000‑hour requirement for the Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) exam, enhancing your professional credentials.

• Proficiency in Dietetics and Nutritional Counseling
• Experience in Medical Nutrition Therapy and managing chronic conditions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote telehealth setting
• Registered Dietitian (RD) credential
• Licensed to practice in Illinois
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
• Experience working with underserved populations is a plus
• Reliable high-speed internet and suitable remote work environment
