Remote Certified Medical Assistant – Enrollment Specialist

Job Responsibilities
  • Engage patients and assist them in navigating their healthcare, addressing questions and concerns
  • Collaborate with medical practice staff and case management teams to manage a targeted population of patients
  • Document patients’ medical history and issues accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Implement and meet assigned Key Performance Indicators to enhance patient health outcomes
  • Escalate medical issues appropriately to clinical staff and maintain a trusting relationship with medical practices
Qualifications
  • Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Certified EMT with 2 or more years of experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on empathy and professionalism
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with various electronic health records
  • Ability to navigate technology and manage multiple tasks independently
  • Reliable transportation and a valid state driver’s license for occasional travel
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with motivational interviewing and behavioral change management
  • Knowledge of social determinants of health
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
