Remote position within the United States. Must be a Nationally Certified Medical Assistant and fluent in Haitian/Cerole and English (spoken and written). This is a 1099, independent contractor role; benefits are not provided.
Medsien is a leading provider of Chronic Care Management and Remote Patient Monitoring services to medical practices across the United States.
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our team as a Care Partner. In this role, you will assist patients in enrolling into various healthcare programs, provide personalized care, and maintain strong relationships with patients and practices.
Responsibilities- Guide patients through the enrollment process for healthcare programs, ensuring accurate and complete documentation.
- Evaluate patient eligibility for specific programs based on criteria such as age, medical conditions, or other qualifying factors.
- Conduct comprehensive consultations with patients to gather information and explain program benefits and requirements.
- Accurately document patient information, enrollment details and eligibility assessments in electronic health records (EHR) or other systems.
- Monitor the progress of enrollment applications, communicate with patients and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide patient education on Medsien’s healthcare programs.
- Adhere to privacy regulations (HIPAA) and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Stay informed about program updates and communicate changes to patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, social workers and other relevant parties to ensure seamless enrollment.
- Active Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (e.g., NHA, AAMA, NCCT, NAHP).
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures and diagnoses.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex information clearly.
- Empathy and compassion toward patients.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Organizational and time‑management skills to manage multiple enrollments and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and general computer use.
- High level of professionalism, integrity and ethical conduct with sensitive patient data.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
Must speak and write Haitian/Creole and English fluently.
