Community Mental Health Clinician & Family Counselor

Community Based Mental Health CSA Clinician Counselor QMHP

EMS of Virginia is seeking a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) registered with the Board of Counseling to provide CSA Funded Services in the Greene County area of Virginia. These services include Virtual Residential support (support in the home of children under 18, similar to crisis and home based combined), Parent Coaching, Home Based Counseling, Mentoring, and other services tailored to the needs of youth involved with local CSAs and FAPT Teams.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

• Seeing clients in the community such as the client's home
• Providing 1‑to‑1 mental health counseling related to goals
• Providing skill building to adults with serious mental illness
• Transporting adult clients to appointments and community resources
• Case management to ensure clients' basic needs are met
• Providing individual and family counseling to children and adolescents
• Completing quarterly reports and progress notes for each session
• Providing information for authorization of services
• Meeting regularly for supervision
• Attending team meetings

Qualifications:

• Licensed or licensed‑eligible as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• QMHP with experience working with children and/or adults
• Registered with the Board of Counseling in Virginia
• Ability to provide supervision experience toward licensure (for license‑eligible candidates)
