Registered Dietitian

Location: This role enables associates to work virtually full-time, with the exception of required in-person training sessions, providing maximum flexibility and autonomy. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

Work schedule: Monday - Friday 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM EST.

Registered Dietitian is responsible for planning and conducting programs to educate patients about nutrition and administering medical nutrition therapy.

• Conduct a nutrition assessment and obtain nutrition history from patient.
• Consult with physician and other health care personnel to determine patient's nutritional needs and diet restrictions.
• Plan therapeutic diets and implement preparation and service of meals for patients in hospital, clinic, or other healthcare facility.
• Instruct patients about the meal plan and dietary changes, and establish goals and objectives to help meet the plan.
• Evaluate nutritional care and provide follow-up continuity of care.
• Document nutrition care plans.
• Inspect meals served for conformance to prescribed diets.
• Instruct patients and their families in nutritional principles, dietary plans, food selection, and preparation.
• Educate staff on nutrition and diet therapy.
• Must successfully pass CNSC exam within 12 months of hire and maintain certification.

• Requires BA/BS and minimum of 3 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background.
• Registered dietitian required.

• Nutritional coaching experience for members with conditions such as CAD, COPD, Asthma, Diabetes, HTN, and HF.
• Ability to meet necessary internet speed requirements and adhere to work-at-home agreements.
