The Position

DescriptionOf Work
This role supports statewide efforts to improve the quality of substance use disorder treatment through data review, provider assistance, and program guidance. You will be working with a variety of partners to strengthen services and promote better outcomes. As a Drug and Alcohol Program Representative, you will perform the following duties:
- Quality Improvement: Assist with developing and implementing measures that strengthen substance use disorder treatment
- Technical Assistance: Provide guidance and support to treatment providers through education, training, and onsite visits
- Data Analysis: Review information from multiple sources to identify trends and recommend improvements
- Training Support: Deliver trainings on regulations, best practices, and quality initiatives for internal and external partners
- Report Preparation: Compile findings, develop tools, and prepare documents used for tracking, reporting, and program oversight
- Collaboration Work: Coordinate with other divisions, bureaus, and stakeholders to address needs and support statewide goals

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. You will be required to report in-office 2 days per week and for special events. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

Qualifications
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two (2) years of professional experience in a social services agency providing direct social services, case management services, program planning, program monitoring, program evaluation, allied health services, or quality assurance services; and a bachelor's degree in the behavioral sciences, public health or human services administration, or a closely related field. Graduate course work in the behavioral sciences, public health or human services administration may be substituted for up to one year of the required experience;
or - Any equivalent combination of experience and training which includes two (2) years of professional experience in a social services agency providing direct social services, case management services, program planning, program monitoring, program evaluation, allied health services, or quality assurance services and 24 college level credits in the behavioral sciences, public health or human services administration.
