Patient Engagement Advisors (PEA) is seeking a part‑time Mission Control Diet Specialist to work remotely assisting CHN patients in the Indianapolis area.

Must be available to work on‑site when business needs arise.

4‑hour, 8‑hour and/or 12‑hour shift between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm Monday‑Friday with weekend and holiday rotation. Hours are subject to change related to business needs.

• Communicate with patients via phone to assist them in selecting menu items during their hospitalization.
• Recognize high‑risk indicators and work with patients to encourage adherence to dietary orders.
• Communicate with dietitians, nursing staff, food and nutrition services management team, host/hostess, and other co‑workers to better serve the patient’s needs.

• You encourage patients to play an active role in their patient care experience.

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of diet office experience, customer service, call center, patient care technician, nursing assistant, or other healthcare or medical experience required.
• Hospital nutrition/dietary experience preferred.
• Other related hospital experience or advanced education will be considered.
• Ability to work a flexible and/or rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Intermediate computer skills required; ability to type 34‑40 wpm.
• Experience with web‑based tools, including nutrition information systems, clinical/EMR systems, Excel.
• Must be able to navigate applications on an iPad.
• Work‑from‑home experience strongly preferred.

Salary range: $15–$16 per hour.
