Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a Licensed Therapist based in Riverton, UT, with flexibility for some work-from-home opportunities. The Licensed Therapist will provide individual and group therapy services, with a focus on trauma recovery, chronic pain management, and resilience building. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, facilitating evidence-based interventions such as EMDR and somatic approaches, and maintaining accurate records.
The Licensed Therapist will also collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and provide compassionate and culturally sensitive care to a diverse range of clients.
- Provide individual (and optional couples/family) therapy using ACT and other evidence-based modalities and interventions
- Treat clients with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and related concerns
- Collaborate with colleagues to support holistic wellness
- Participate in team consultation, training, and professional development
- Proficiency in , or willing to receive training, providing trauma-informed care and utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Trauma-Focused ACT, EMDR, and somatic therapy.
- Experience in conducting therapy sessions, developing treatment plans, and maintaining client records with attention to confidentiality and professional standards
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of chronic pain management, resilience-building models, and/or experience working with veterans or first responders is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to collaborative, client-centered practice
- Valid licensure as a therapist (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC) in the state of Utah or eligibility for licensure reciprocity
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Ability to work in both in-person and remote settings as needed
