SummaryThis hourly/non‑exempt PRN Chaplain position serves as after‑hours and on‑call coverage for Longs Peak Hospital (Longmont, CO) and Broomfield Hospital. The role requires flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and on‑call periods for both facilities. Chaplains provide spiritual, emotional, and relational care to patients, families, and staff, working from home during on‑call hours and responding within 30‑45 minutes to emergencies. A resume detailing ACPE CPE units is required.
Pay$24.11 – $36.17 per hour, based on relevant experience.
Responsibilities- Perform spiritual visitation, public worship services, and outreach services.
- Assess and respond to the spiritual, emotional, and cultural needs of those counseled, including crisis intervention, ethical concerns, and bereavement.
- Participate in an interdisciplinary approach to spiritual care and patient health.
- Document visits and interventions in accordance with organizational standards.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Completion of at least one ACPE CPE unit.
- Relevant spiritual care experience.
