As an Associate Technical Consultant in the Cranial and Spinal Technologies area, you will be responsible for the technical support, training, and consulting of medical professionals in the application of innovative Medtronic products in neurosurgery and spinal surgery. You will work closely with sales, marketing, and clinical teams and make a crucial contribution to the safe and effective use of state-of-the-art medical technology in the operating room.

This position covers the greater Baden-Württemberg area and is therefore a remote position. Remote means that your home address is considered the primary workplace (home office). For meetings, your presence in the Medtronic office may be required from time to time. For this position, there is an institution-related vaccination requirement. For this reason, full measles vaccination is a prerequisite for filling the open position.

Responsibilities include, as follows:

• Technical product and system support in the operating room (e.g., navigation, robotics, implants, instruments, surgical systems) in consultation with the team
• Conducting product demonstrations, in-service training, and workshops for medical professionals, as well as for internal sales training
• Identifying and coordinating sales opportunities for the entire Cranial and Spinal Technologies product portfolio, as well as analyzing customer feedback and sharing relevant information with internal stakeholders
• Close collaboration with internal stakeholders (primarily Team West and focusing on strategic accounts) to optimize customer solutions within our AiBLETM ecosystem (technologically integrated ecosystem for spinal and neurosurgery)
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory, quality, and internal company guidelines

Required knowledge and experience:

• Completed degree in medical technology, health management, or a comparable technical/clinical study
• Experience in the medical environment, ideally in neurosurgery or spinal surgery
• Technical understanding of complex medical technology systems
• Very good communication and presentation skills
• Customer-oriented, structured, and independent working style
• High willingness to learn and flexibility
• Very good German and good English skills in speech and writing
• Team player mindset with very good skills in building customer contacts
