Infection Preventionist - Quality Improvement Advisor (QIA) II
Remote full-time position in Wyoming.
ResponsibilitiesThe full‑time remote Infection Preventionist – QIA II is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating infection prevention strategies that reduce healthcare‑associated infections, strengthen regulatory readiness, and promote a culture of safety through evidence‑based practices. This position serves as a subject‑matter expert in infection prevention and control, providing consultation, field support, data analysis, education, and outbreak response. The role requires travel up to 15‑60% of the time.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Nursing, Public Health, Microbiology, or related field;
Certified in Infection Control preferred. Experience with NHSN reporting, infection surveillance, and Infection Control Assessment and Response (ICAR) preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently and collaboratively with clinical, quality, and leadership teams.
Target compensation: $70,000–$95,000 per year.
