Direct Support Professional (Part-Time) – West Hills, CA

• Outline and prepare daily routines for clients as written in their Individual Program Plan.
• Support residents in developing and pursuing Individual or Integrated Support Plan goals.
• Maintain a clean, safe and healthy environment for all clients.
• Accompany clients to family visits, recreational activities and encourage social interaction with peers.
• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as grooming, toileting and changing undergarments or clothing.
• Prepare daily meals and assist with cleanup.
• Pick up and drop off clients in company vans when necessary.
• Report incidents or problems and communicate daily with administrators.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of professional or personal caregiving experience; preferred experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or mental illnesses with challenging behaviors.
• Direct Support Professional Certificate (Year 1 &
  2) and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) – preferred or willingness to obtain within six months of hire.
• First Aid/CPR certification – preferred or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid California driver’s license.
• Successful completion of all pre‑employment requirements, including background check.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
