Full-Time Director of Children's Home-Based Therapeutic Services (CHTS) Needed in Rhode Island!
Salary: $85,000- $95,000 Annually (based on education and experience)
The Director of Children's Home-Based Therapeutic Services (CHTS) is responsible for the clinical, operational, and administrative oversight of the Children's Home-Based Therapeutic Services program. The Director ensures the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based, trauma-informed, and family-centered services designed to support children with behavioral health needs and their families within the home and community settings.
The Director provides leadership to clinical and case management staff, ensures compliance with Medicaid, licensing, accreditation, and contractual requirements, and promotes positive outcomes for children and families through effective program management, quality assurance activities, and staff development.

Qualifications:
- Education: Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field
- Licensure: Independent clinical licensure required, including: LICSW, LMHC, BCBA, PsyD/PhD, or other comparable clinical licensure
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience managing clinical staff
- Experience working with children and families in community-based behavioral health settings
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams needed
- Knowledge of Medicaid, managed care organizations, insurance authorization processes, and regulatory compliance required
- Experience with quality assurance and program development needed

- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years with reliable transportation
- Ability to obtain and maintain CPR, First Aid, and Safety Care certifications
- Availability to participate in on-call responsibilities and respond to program emergencies as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership and management of the Children's Home-Based Therapeutic Services program
- Ensure effective program operations, service delivery, and achievement of program outcomes
- Support program growth, development, and strategic initiatives
- Monitor program census, referrals, admissions, and discharges
- Ensure implementation of evidence-based, trauma-informed, and family-centered practices
- Ensure clinical services are delivered in accordance with professional standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies
- Provide supervision, consultation, and support to clinicians and case managers
- Monitor treatment outcomes, service effectiveness, and quality improvement initiatives
- Participate in complex case reviews and crisis management activities
- Support staff in addressing behavioral, emotional, and family system challenges
