As a Float DSP, you'll provide support across our residential homes, stepping in where you're needed most to ensure our members continue receiving exceptional, person-centered care. • Support members in their daily lives.
• Assist with personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, housekeeping, and daily routines.
• Encourage independence while promoting dignity, choice, and respect.
• Assist members with community activities, appointments, and recreational opportunities.
• Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and leadership to ensure continuity of care.
• Follow all New Horizons Center policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

This is a Float position that provides staffing support throughout our residential program.

Applicants must:

• Be available to work any shift, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• Be willing to work in any New Horizons residential home based on operational needs.
• Work a minimum of three (3) shifts per month to remain an active Float DSP.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass all required background checks and pre-employment screenings.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all required certifications, including an Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card and agency-required training.
• Previous experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.
