Are you looking for a flexible position where every shift matters? New Horizons Center is seeking compassionate, dependable, and adaptable individuals to join our team as a Float Direct Support Professional (DSP).
As a Float DSP, you'll provide support across our residential homes, stepping in where you're needed most to ensure our members continue receiving exceptional, person-centered care. What You'll Do- Support members in their daily lives.
- Assist with personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, housekeeping, and daily routines.
- Encourage independence while promoting dignity, choice, and respect.
- Assist members with community activities, appointments, and recreational opportunities.
- Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and leadership to ensure continuity of care.
- Follow all New Horizons Center policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
This is a Float position that provides staffing support throughout our residential program.
Applicants must:
- Be available to work any shift, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
- Be willing to work in any New Horizons residential home based on operational needs.
- Work a minimum of three (3) shifts per month to remain an active Float DSP.

Qualifications- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass all required background checks and pre-employment screenings.
- Ability to obtain and maintain all required certifications, including an Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card and agency-required training.
- Previous experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.
