Overview
Sentara Belle Harbour located in Suffolk, VA is seeking a Flexi/PRN CT Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will provide coverage at both the Belle Harbour and St. Luke’s locations.
Responsibilities- Provide quality computed tomography (CT) imaging to patients under the direction of a supervising physician with adherence to required protocol standards.
- Perform CT scans per protocol under the direction of a qualified physician.
- Provide patient and family education.
- Operate equipment safely and maintain equipment clean and operational.
- Complete department documentation and maintain adequate supply inventory for performing examinations.
- Follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines.
- Administer CT contrast per protocol.

- Must obtain ARRT (CT) advanced registry within 2 years of hire

The Advanced Imaging Center at Belle Harbour is conveniently located on the campus of Sentara Belle Harbour in Western Tidewater. The center is home to a 3T MRI, CT, PET CT, full digital mammography, ultrasound, bone densitometry, PVL (vascular imaging services), non‑invasive cardiac diagnostic testing, and digital X‑ray. Physicians and patients also benefit from the expertise of our sub‑specialized radiologists who ensure accurate results from the high‑quality images.
Our sub‑specialties include women’s imaging, musculoskeletal (MSK), body, and neuroradiology.
