Pharmacy Technician II

Location:

Florida. Associates are required to work in office 1–2 days per week with flexibility for remote work when permissible by policy. Alternate locations may be considered if the candidate resides within a reasonable commuting distance.

Schedule:

Sunday–Thursday 10:30am–7:00pm (off Friday or Saturday); or Sunday 8:00am–4:30pm; or Tuesday–Saturday 10:30am–7:00pm (off Sunday and Monday); or Saturday 8:00am–4:30pm.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret and enter moderately complex prescriptions.
• Process prior authorization requests and ensure Medicare compliance.
• Troubleshoot adjudication issues.
• Verify member information and provide data to pharmacists.
• Educate members on pharmacy rules, medication resources, and assistance programs.
• Resolve grievances and appeals.
• Respond to inquiries from physicians, sales team, and members regarding formulary and prescription benefits.
• Generate reports on rebates, physician utilization, Beers Criteria, Reliance members, and other ad hoc topics.
• Maintain records of prior authorizations, rebates, and monthly reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active, professional state pharmacy technician license (or national certification as required).
• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of pharmacy experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
