Working as a member of the clinical team, the clinician provides excellent, protocol-driven reproductive, gender‑affirming, and primary care services. The clinician collaborates with clinic staff to advance clinical scores, demonstrating skill proficiency and respect for patients and coworkers from diverse backgrounds.
Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive physical examinations, diagnose, treat, prescribe medications, order and interpret laboratory tests, and conduct screenings and in‑clinic procedures.
- Educate patients on reproductive and complementary health options and support exceptional patient‑centered services.
- Deliver patient‑driven customer service; anticipate patient needs and maintain professionalism in the exam room and throughout the visit.
- Adhere strictly to PPGWNI medical protocols, practice within licensure scope, and stay current with protocol updates through continued education.
- Serve as a role model for clinical staff regarding professionalism, protocols, and patient confidentiality.
- Maintain clinic productivity (≈4 patients per hour) and contribute to smooth clinic flow by coordinating with the team.
- Provide gender‑affirming care, including evaluation, medication management, lab testing, and transition support as per guidelines.
- Offer medication and surgical abortion services (MAB & SAB) in accordance with Washington State regulations and PPGWNI policies.
- Deliver limited and expanded primary care (e.g., anemia, asthma, depression, diabetes, hypertension, etc.) within scope.
- Perform pregnancy diagnosis and gestational dating, provide counseling, and refer for additional care when appropriate.
- Provide family‑planning counseling and perform procedures such as IUD insertion/management.
- Use the electronic medical record (EMR) efficiently for documentation, billing, and clinical decision support.
- Coordinate with the follow‑up team, specialist referrals, and other clinic staff; assist with phone triage as needed.
- Participate in after‑hours triage and rotating consultation duties.
- Travel to affiliate sites as required; possess valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; uphold patient privacy in all interactions.
- Engage in clinical research, peer education, and training activities assigned by clinic leadership.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience.
- Valid Washington state RN or ARNP licensure required; NP, PA‑C, or higher preferred with family practice or women’s health specialty.
- Prescriptive authority, ACLS, and CPR certification required.
- Proficiency in EMR usage and familiarity with diagnosis coding.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; bilingual in English/Spanish required.
- Willingness to travel to affiliate sites; possession of valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Commitment to continuous learning and adherence to PPGWNI protocols.
- Accepted sign‑on bonus of $20,000 for eligible candidates.
