JWCH is offering this position for limited hybrid work environment, allowing for a flexible blend of in-office and remote work for LCSW professionals. Additionally, we are pleased to offer a one-time bonus of $7500 after one year of service, contingent upon successful performance evaluations and meeting performance expectations. Population/Needs:

Bring your passion and expertise to life in a dynamic role as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a proven experience of over three years specializing in providing dedicated care to children and adolescents. Showcase your documented understanding of child and adolescent development, leveraging a wealth of knowledge in behavioral interventions and therapies specific to address the unique needs of this demographic.

The ideal candidate should possess a understanding of clinical best practices but will also be familiar with the local geographic area. This geographic insight serves as a powerful tool, enhancing your ability to collaborate seamlessly with other agencies and community resources, thereby creating a network of support for those you serve.

Principal Responsibilities:
  • Work at a Federally Qualified Health Center as a part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure that the patient’s clinical treatment goals and behavioral management needs are met by attending case conferences, chronic disease management meetings, staff consultation, and individual meetings with staff to ensure quality of care.
  • Conduct functional and strength-based bio psychosocial assessments for children and adolescents including comprehensive diagnosis for mental health, substance abuse, trauma, and psychosocial needs.
  • Develop patient care plans for children and adolescents that are coordinated and integrated with a comprehensive range of medical and psychosocial services to address social, emotional, and practical needs.
  • Provide psychotherapy, counseling, medical case management and psychoeducation utilizing individual, family, and group modalities.
  • Employ Evidenced Based brief oriented therapies for children and adolescents including sand and play therapy, knowledge of family systems, experience with family therapy and teaching parenting skills.
  • Working with children and their families that include social, emotional, and practical life skills to facilitate safe coping, distress tolerance, stress reduction, mindfulness, and relaxation as well as access to necessary resources with the goal of improved functioning and positive health outcomes.
  • Utilize both short-term and intensive longer-term interventions, as approved by funding source that target trauma, mental health symptoms, increase psychosocial functioning and reduction of substance use.
  • Interventions are client centered; strength based, and identified based on a comprehensive treatment plan that is developed, after completing a thorough biopsychosocial assessment.
