Family therapist with the ability to be done remotely.

Ozark Trails Youth Services is a Revolutionary Long Term Residential Treatment Center that combines Residential Treatment with Nature and Primitive Skill development. Clients are guided through experiential learning in order to open the neural pathways that are needed to effectively engage in the therapeutic process.

The Family Therapist is responsible for the overall therapeutic progress and therapeutic case management of 10-20 families. This position reports directly to the Clinical Director, focusing on student and parent therapeutic progress as key goals. Planning, implementing, and adjusting a course of treatment are key elements of this position.

Job Title: Family Therapist (Remote Available)

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Remote

Salary Range: $70,000 to $80,000 per year

Responsibilities include:

• Development and implementation of student treatment plan
• Facilitate weekly family therapy with each student on caseload (via Zoom)
• Timely completion of documentation (weekly family therapy notes)
• Review student and family treatment progress in treatment team meetings with Primary Counselors
• Oversee all aspects of each student’s therapeutic progress, ensuring timely progress and completion of treatment plan goals, and giving clinical updates to Primary Counselors and medical staff
• Complete insurance reviews when assigned by Clinical Director
• Attend daily Staff Meetings
• Return parent calls within 24 hours

• Contact parents within 48 hours of being assigned a new Family
• Orient parents to Initial assignments (Not by Chance, Anatomy of Peace)
• Review expectations
• Contact with student
• Parent involvement
• Review intake information and testing within 48 hours

Applicants must be licensed Master’s Level Therapist and in good standing in the state of Missouri. Two years’ experience is preferred.
