Position:
Medical Science Liaison, Immunology – Admilparant (Field – AK, WA, OR, , UT, NV). The MSL role embodies our medical mission to be recognized as the trusted partner for internal stakeholders and the healthcare community, driving scientific exchange to enhance medical education, data generation, insight generation and patients’ access to medicine.
- Develop and maintain relationships with academic and community research thought leaders, appropriate HCPs, and access stakeholders within the assigned geography.
- Use multiple channels (1:1, group presentations, remote, etc.) to engage in scientific exchange and provide medical support.
- Effectively present information to TL/HCPs and respond to questions while ensuring medical accuracy and compliance with local procedures, ethical and legal guidelines.
- Actively assess the medical landscape by meeting with TL/HCPs/Access Stakeholders to understand their needs and expertise.
- Continuously update knowledge in treatment strategies, product information, unmet medical needs, clinical trials, health‑economics outcomes research, and scientific activities.
- Understand the competitive landscape, evolving healthcare models, and prepare to address informational needs of customers.
- Identify opportunities to partner with HCPs on disease‑state initiatives, collaborative research projects, and investigator‑sponsored research (ISR) in alignment with BMS strategic objectives.
- Attend medical congresses and local/regional meetings; collect and provide meaningful medical insights back to the medical and commercial organizations.
- Contribute to the Medical Plan, including developing geography‑specific field medical and TL interaction plans, adopting an institution/account planning approach, and supporting cross‑functional institution/account plans.
- Develop, deliver, and support scientifically meaningful medical programs/projects in line with local medical and field medical plans.
- Establish a customer‑centric, compliant collaboration with cross‑matrix field teams within the assigned geography.
- Support initial and ongoing medical/scientific area and product specific training; provide key scientific updates to internal stakeholders.
- Provide scientific support at promotional meetings, evaluate speakers, and support BMS‑contracted speakers when applicable.
- Participate in assigned congress activities and support clinical trial activities.
- Support interventional and non‑interventional research (NIR) studies, facilitate patient recruitment, and discuss the safe and effective use of BMS investigational products.
- Provide recommendations and insights to the clinical development team on study and site feasibility, based on field knowledge.
- Support HCPs in the ISR submission and execution process and study follow‑up.
- Ensure BMS pharmacovigilance procedural documents are understood and applied by investigators of local studies; alert appropriate BMS personnel to any identified adverse events.
- Support CRO‑sponsored studies as agreed with home office medical and GDO and within the defined study scope.
- MD, PharmD, PhD, APP, PA, NP with experience in a specific disease area or broad medical background and relevant pharmaceutical experience.
- Deep disease‑area knowledge and understanding of scientific publications.
- Knowledge of the scientific or clinical area, competitive landscape, and patient treatment trends.
- Knowledge of clinical trial design and process.
- Knowledge of national healthcare and access environment.
- Knowledge of HEOR core concepts.
- Excellent English language skills, both spoken and written.
- Minimum of 2 years in a clinical and/or pharmaceutical environment.
- Prior MSL experience.
- Ability to work independently and function as a team player.
- Skill in translating scientific or clinical data into an understandable and valuable form for physicians.
- Strong communication and presentation skills when presenting data to research or healthcare professionals.
- Ability to rapidly learn about new subject areas and environments.
- Must be able to drive a BMS‑provided vehicle between locations and maintain responsibility for vehicle safety.
- Position is field based; requires residence within the territory or within 50 miles of territory borders.
- Travel is required; majority of time in the field with external customers.
Field – United States – $166,090 – $201,262 (base salary). Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may apply based on eligibility. Final individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
