Job Overview
Pharmacy Technician – Aetna – Providence, USA. Salary: $20-30/Hour.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree.
This role interacts with patients to steer utilization, therapy modifications, medication questions, remedy issues, offer training, and maintain our company’s reputation for excellent service.
Responsibilities- Communicate the benefits of generics or other suitable medication to patients to provide savings.
- Work closely with specialty projects team to change or modify therapy for specific medications.
- Conduct adherence outreach to ensure patients stay on medication and remain compliant.
- Handle incoming and outgoing calls to patients, clients, and other parties while proactively gathering patient and order data.
- Use knowledge of coverage, health‑care, and reimbursement requirements for dispensing, processing referrals, and providing customer training.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with appropriate escalation to a pharmacist.
- Operate within a high‑power culture that emphasizes customer service with empathy and resolves questions on the first call.
- Adhere to HIPAA and government compliance.
- Work from home if qualifications are met, maintaining required internet speed and a suitable workspace.
- Follow a Monday‑Friday schedule with flexible alternatives to accommodate work‑life balance; days off and hours may vary but a set schedule is required.

Required Qualifications- At least 1 year of customer support experience dealing with and resolving customer needs over the telephone.
- Valid AZ registered pharmacy technician license.
- More than 6 months of high‑volume customer service experience using Windows, Microsoft, or comparable applications.
- Previous healthcare experience with benefits, insurance, or prescriptions.
- Comfortably referring to customers in a patient and empathetic way that demonstrates genuine concern for improving their well‑being.
- Verifiable high school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
